I recently bought Orijen Kitten from BioPet for my 3-month-old kitten. Until now, his main food was Royal Canin Mother & Babycat, and occasionally I offered small amounts of Acana Grasslands and Orijen Tundra (I got them as samples from the store) just to introduce different flavors. Now I’ve decided to fully transition to Orijen Kitten.
The food has a pleasantly natural smell — I was worried it might have that strong “raw meat” aroma, but thankfully it doesn’t. The kibble pieces are medium-sized and oval-shaped, and my kitten absolutely loves them. He’s normally on free-feeding, but for now I’m a bit cautious about leaving Orijen in the bowl all day — I have a feeling he’d inhale everything at once. So during the transition, his free-fed bowl still has Royal Canin, and Orijen is given in measured portions.
The ingredient list is fantastic: 90% animal-based, grain-free, and nothing unnecessary — which was one of the main reasons I chose it. I was torn between this, Acana Kitten, and Grandorf Kitten, but Orijen felt like the best fit.
As always, I’m very happy with BioPet: the order was processed quickly, the packaging was neat, and the expiration date was fresh. Overall, I’m really pleased — both with the food and the customer service. A special thank you to the team at the Ahmedli branch for being so helpful ❤️
